Tone demo for new Skjold bass !

Many have asked for it so I thought I’d post a little snippet of a tune I’m working on for the new CD (will keep you posted on THAT as well!!). It’s not fully mixed and is not a representation of the complete track, but there is a nice display of tones here. The bass is flat with a slight bass boost and the melody is flat with the neck pickup soloed. Hope you like it!!

btw: this track is in 5… see if you can feel it! ;)

  2. Dude… Reinhart kills. And the piano (and player) sounds like Randy Porter, yes?

This track sounds incredible, as does the new bass.
Congrats man, can’t wait to hear the album.
I actually felt this groove in 7 and a half first because of the phrasing but then I could feel the pulse in 5 with three groups pulsing to make the 15 beat phrase.

That’s the strangest 5 I’ve ever heard! However, if you don’t try to count it. and just FEEL it, it’s easy! The Skjold sounds beautiful!
